We spent Christmas and New Year with Carmen's folks in San Diego, California. In addition to seeing family, friends and beloved pets Ollie, Molly and Willy, we visited the beach, Balboa Park, Gaslamp Quarter, the Filipino grocery store, and many other places. In one weekend, we visited the snow at Lake Arrowhead and then drove down to the desert at Joshua Tree National Park. special moments with the Maasz family as they arrived in San Diego on January 1. It was a very celebratory and exciting holiday for all of us!
